This unashamed laugh-a-minute comedy takes us to Turku in Finland. Sirkku, in her forties, sees her perfect life go off the rails when her husband unexpectedly leaves her. Our heroine finds herself in a spectacular crisis, sending too many text messages, getting a new hairstyle, messing about on dates with ‘potential men’ and drinking whisky whilst dressed in her wedding gown – all hell has broken loose!
‘Me’ has suddenly become ‘I’, but who is this oddball Sirkku? As a professional actress, she tries to cope with everyday life by drawing support from various roles she’s played throughout her career, but is ‘Bitch-Bosslady’ really the best choice for a meeting with her ex-mother-in-law? Will her friends’ interference help with her tearful tantrums?
