Runopyykki is a warm-hearted performance concept that gently engages the audience, using the art of the spoken word and live music to highlight the full spectrum of life. Launched in 2016, the performance engages with the audience openly, listening to them and involving them gently. Created by theatre artist and singer Jarmo Skön and theatre musician Silja Kuoppala, the production is full of powerful emotions, smiles, tears and shared moments of realisation on the edge of life. The performance lasts approximately 45–60 minutes.
Technical requirements
Sound system: For our performance, we use a piano and 1–2 vocal microphones.We would appreciate it if the organiser could let us know whether an acoustic or
electric piano and/or sound system is available on site for us to use.
If necessary, we will bring
our own instrument and a small sound system.
