Peek-a-boo, where’s the moon? – a baby theatre show
Peek-a-boo, where’s the moon? is a baby theatre show that combines HIDE-AND-SEEK, POP-UP DOORS and the WONDERS OF PUPPET THEATRE.
Just a moment ago it was right here, but now it’s nowhere to be seen. I wonder if the moon has gone into hiding? Let’s count to three and look for the moon! But the moon has found a really good hiding place, and it will take lots of ‘peeks’ and ‘peek-a-boos’ before the moon comes out of hiding.
A SHOW JUST FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS brings the familiar lift-the-flap pages from picture books and the wonders of puppet theatre into this game of hide-and-seek. With the help of an adult, participants get to join in a game where peeking plays the leading role.
During the performance, participants sit comfortably on the floor, child and adult together. The performer may move among the participants, but the adults do not have to perform; instead, they can enjoy the show and the interaction with the little ones.
The aim of the performance is to give the youngest members of the family their first theatre experience in a gentle and safe way, shared with their own adult. The performance combines elements familiar to babies with a touch of theatrical magic and offers adults a moment in a world of imagination too.
