JIMI HENDRIX TRIBUTE
This Jimi Hendrix tribute honours the soundscape of the old alliance and visually depicts the Hendrix experience, but does not attempt to copy its idol. Marko Kampman band's Hendrix storm promises power, sensitivity and a generous dose of blues.
Marko Kampman/guitar and vocals, Roope Liikanen, bass, and Osmo "Moso" Liikanen, drums. Marko Kampman is a guitar teacher at a music school and a classical concert guitarist. He has won the Tychy International Guitar Competition and played as a soloist with symphony orchestras in Finland and abroad. Marko graduated from the Sibelius Academy's soloist department, majoring in classical guitar. He continued his studies at the Basel Music Academy from 1994 to 1997. He also studied electric guitar and teaching from a young age. Marko studied electric guitar under Jarmo Hynninen, among others.
