Teatteri Tuike is a professional theatre company founded in Helsinki in 1997. Teatteri Tuike's particular artistic focus is on specialising in visual theatre and boldly exploring and promoting the diverse forms of sensory theatre. Teatteri Tuike consists of 21 members. The members are freelance actors, directors, lighting designers, costume designers, set designers, photographers, playwrights, producers and theatre technicians. Tuike has two permanent staff members: a theatre director and a producer. Tuike's programme includes two to three premieres each year. The touring programme currently includes four wonderful performances for the whole family/children.
