ACCAC – is an international network and a Finnish pioneer in developing accessible and equitable cultural services. ACCAC Finland acts as the network’s coordination centre and organises events, workshops, training sessions and development projects that strengthen the accessibility of the arts, expertise in the cultural sector and the participation of young people.
ACCAC’s activities bring together artists, cultural organisations, cities and European partners in long-term collaboration. At the heart of its work are accessible production models, multisensory audience experiences and inclusive working methods, which ACCAC has developed and shared internationally for over a decade. Its activities range from festivals and seminars to strategic EU projects that build new, scalable solutions for the cultural sector.
ACCAC’s particular strengths lie in practical accessibility expertise, training and the empowerment of young people through art and co-creation. ACCAC Finland acts as a bridge-builder between different stakeholders and offers concrete tools to help the cultural sector move towards a more equal future.
