Entwined – a creative workshop on hope
Entwined is a two-hour creative and participatory workshop that explores all the things we have become entwined with during our lives – people, places, memories, nature and the changing world. The workshop offers a practical introduction to eco-social thinking: the individual is seen as part of the web of life, in relationships with other people, nature and the environment. The discussion also examines accessibility as part of a sustainable and just future.
The workshop takes time to reflect on how the world has changed over the lifetimes of different generations and what feelings, memories and insights these changes evoke. Participants can share their experiences of what they have become entangled with during their lives – and what they would like to strengthen in the future.
In the creative section, we will safely bring environmental feelings to the surface, strengthen our imagination and seek out perspectives of hope in everyday life. Low-threshold methods invite participants to gain insights, experience and discover new ways of being in the world – together. The workshop is suitable for all age groups and requires no prior experience of the subject or creative work.
Max 25 people.
The Kietoutuneita workshop offers participants the opportunity to examine their own place in a changing world and to make sense of the feelings, memories and hopes associated with it. The workshop combines discussion and creative activity in a way that supports well-being, a sense of community and a sense of meaning.
The workshop also produces culturally and historically valuable material: stories, memories and works collected with the participants’ permission can be used later, for example, in an exhibition, a community artwork or a performance piece. In this way, the workshop serves both the participants and the wider community, and strengthens understanding of the experiences of different generations and their relationship with the surrounding world.
