Tiitiäinen’s Alphabet
A one-woman play by actress Taina Maria Savimäki for children of nursery and pre-school age.
Tiitiäisen aakkoset is based on Kirsi Kunnas’s collection of poems and nursery rhymes, *Tiitiäisen tuluskukkaro*. This interactive play takes young audience members into Tiitiäisen’s forest, where they encounter the strangest of forest dwellers and search for the letters that have gone missing from Tiitiäinen. Through Kirsi Kunnas’s funny and insightful poems, the audience are introduced to the alphabet. The performance also features some joyful songs.
Actress and arts educator Taina Maria Savimäki has crafted the puppets for the performance from recycled materials.
