The Great Adventure
THE GREAT ADVENTURE IS A PUPPET SHOW about friendship, courage and the power of imagination.
ALLOW IS LEFT HOME ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME when Grandad goes to the shops. It feels boring, but luckily he has his soft toy mouse Pietu and a vivid imagination to keep him company. When the weather forecast and a storm warning come on the radio, a game begins that has all the makings of a great adventure. Pietu is no longer just a soft toy, but a real friend.
How do you know this island is deserted? – Because in all great adventures, you always end up shipwrecked on a deserted island. And this is the big adventure!
In the performance, the worlds of play are built on stage before the audience’s eyes, and the toys come to life through the techniques of puppet theatre and shadow theatre.
THE PERFORMANCE REMINDS US OF THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP and that even the smallest can be brave.
