Puppet theatre performance The Thousand-Legged Creature’s Expedition
The main character of the play is Kipi, a small thousand-legged creature. Kipi is curious and playful and finds many wonders in the nearby forest. One day, Kipi meets Höpsijä, whose babbling upsets Kipi. Isn't he a good millipede just the way he is? Why should he change? Fortunately, the wise hedgehog of the forest helps Kipi understand that being different gives you superpowers and should not be hidden.
This fairy tale reminds us all that every creature, no matter how small, is needed to keep our world beautiful and diverse in the future. The performance is based on Marjatta Kurenniemi's story The Millipede.
Script, visualisation, performance: Anne Lihavainen, Direction: Teija Paananen, Music: Sampo Kylmänen
