Ding dong – welcome to the playful world of sounds
Ding Dong! is a dance theatre performance that invites you to explore sounds – and how they transform into movement, music and joy.
Two creators of soundscapes, Ding and Dong, guide the audience through rhythms, unexpected sounds and silence. Why does one sound make us laugh whilst another makes us feel excited? Where does a sound go when we can no longer hear it? How can a little ‘ding’ – or a big ‘dong’ – set a dance in motion?
Sometimes the sounds slip away – and then we search for them together. Through clapping, snapping, stomping and making noises, a living soundscape emerges, in which every sound is important.
‘Ding Dong!’ is an interactive and sensorially stimulating performance, in which even the smallest sound can grow into a great experience.
