The Experience Vending Machine is a sky-blue performance machine that serves up exhilarating and inventive performances from its hatches. Audience members can choose their own experience from the Experience Vending Machine’s programme menu, and it is served to them straight away through the machine’s performance windows and hatches. These short performances are created using clowning, puppet and object theatre, and spoken word.
The performance works well at events because the audience member determines the duration of the performance themselves: as they pass by, they can choose a short performance for themselves, stay to watch performances chosen by others, or personally explore the entire menu of the Experience Vending Machine. The experiences offered by the Experience Vending Machine can also be tailored to suit the theme or subject of the occasion as required.
