DomraCocktail offers various types of concerts in which Pentti Yrjänäinen plays the domra accompanied by backing tracks he has arranged himself. DomraCocktail’s vocal soloists are the opera singer Kalle Virtanen, the versatile performer Ilana Rimón, and Reetta Sironen, who specialises in Balkan singing. Each singer has their own unique repertoire. In venues with good acoustics, performances can be unamplified, but if necessary, DomraCocktail has its own sound system and we can also use the venue’s equipment, if available. The programme can be agreed in consultation with the venue.
We can perform both indoors and, during the warmer months, outdoors, but for outdoor venues it is advisable to have a canopy or other form of shelter from the rain.
