Bolero – Dance Performance
Bolero is a duet in which the dancers rehearse and prepare for a dance performance entitled Bolero.
Two dancers specialising in acrobatics and floor technique are the tools of a classical artist’s genius, but inspiration is in short supply and the choreography is not progressing. The pressure is intense and emotions run high as they struggle to complete the piece. The working atmosphere is tense, the humour dark and the dancing dangerous.
The Bolero duet is built on Kinetic Orchestra’s partner technique and the performers’ wide range of skills. The piece is a combination of black comedy and skilful, fast-paced dance, utilising techniques from various acrobatic disciplines.
The piece features two dancers and a choreographer.

Technical requirements
A basic PA system with one microphone (for the choreographer) is required. In addition, basic lighting with the option to switch between working lights and performance lighting, i.e. two lighting setups.Trailer
