I have been involved with children and music my entire life. I have run children's summer camps at the Kassu Halonen Art Centre in Manamansalo. I have my own "fairy tale characters", including Höppänätonttu, Hepokönkään Höppänä and Unikeitaan Unilukkari. I have been Santa Claus at Kalevala Spirit's Christmas in Kuhmo and at Finnish markets in Leipzig, Stuttgart and Hanover in Germany and in Brussels in Belgium.
I have performed in Finland at the Helsinki Exhibition Centre at the Travel Fair and Habitare, at the Tampere Pirkkahalli Travel Fair, at the Kotka Maritime Days, Hullu Poro Arena and Tonttula in Levi, Posio Midsummer Festival, Joensuu Arena, Hossa, Oulanka and Syöte National Parks, Hepokönkä, and numerous dance venues around Finland.
I have been involved in many major events, including: Kainuu Fair, Heikki Kovalainen Karting Race in Suomussalmi, Viepperhauta wilderness event in Suomussalmi, Koli Wilderness Fair, Susiraja Wilderness Fair in Joensuu, Karelia Wilderness Fair in Kontiolahti, Karelia Wilderness Fair in Imatra, Lieksa Heritage Days, the Cheese Bread Event in Ristijärvi, the Medieval Event Verlan Aika and the Wiipurintien Market in Kouvola, the Hossa Ancient Fires events for several years, the Hepokönkään Höppänän daycare tours, the Höppänätontun
department store tours and concerts... I play bass, guitar, keyboards and trombone. I perform as a one-man band and as a substitute musician in various ensembles. Live karaoke and live jukebox are currently popular programme items. My repertoire currently includes over 1,700 songs!
