I am a photographic artist, documentary filmmaker and teacher based in Lahti, with over 15 years of experience in the media industry. From 2017 to 2024, I worked full-time as a teacher of photography and visual communication at Lahti Folk High School and the Free Academy.

As an entrepreneur, I have collaborated with a wide range of private clients, event organisers, restaurants, studio photography, daily news and magazines. I also have practical skills in film production, video shooting and editing.

As an artist, I work with documentary photography, and I am also fascinated by alternative methods of image production and audiovisual tools. In my work, I often deal with everyday events, landscapes, stories and encounters with people. Lingering and wandering interaction in social
situations, research and intuitive visual experiments are the main methods I use to explore my chosen themes. I have a Master's degree in art and a Bachelor's degree in photography from the Lahti Institute of Design.
