Liikkuva Laulureppu is a children's music duo formed by Mari and Timo Rautio, and we have been active for 15 years. We have released a total of six albums and performed extensively throughout Finland. Our performances are participatory and have a positive and interactive atmosphere. In addition to the duo, we also perform with our entire band, which includes our adult sons. In addition to performing, we also lead music groups for children and young people with special needs. In addition to children's music, we also perform a lot in residential/care facilities for the elderly and people with developmental disabilities. Participation is important in these performances as well, and our repertoire for these gigs consists mainly of familiar evergreens.
Customer references
For several years, we have been working with family carers in the Oulu region, with whom we have set up music groups for children and young people with special needs. For several years, we have also led Finnish-style hobby clubs for children with special needs at several special schools in Oulu. We are currently collaborating with the publishing house SanomaPro. We produce music for the Laskupolku mathematics book series for primary school grades 1-3. Another partner is VL Media, which has released almost all of our albums. In 2021, we were recognised as the most disability-friendly organisation in Oulu and received an honourable mention from the City of Oulu's Equality and Non-Discrimination Committee for the 2021-2025 council term.
