I am a creative activity instructor and freelance visual artist. I design and implement low-threshold creative workshops, courses and events for adults, with a particular focus on wellbeing, self-expression and everyday relaxation.
Creative breaks and courses are suitable for cultural venues, educational institutions, work communities, associations and events. Every participant is welcome to join in, even if they are unfinished, curious and unique. My expertise began with weaving (Bachelor of Arts) and has expanded through various craft techniques to creative painting and expressive art therapy instruction.
Customer references
For over 20 years, I have instructed and taught various creative and craft courses at adult education centres, most recently at the Salo Adult Education Centre.
I have been involved in my own programme at the Salo Arts Fair for four years. I worked for a few years as an instructor at Taito Varsinais-Suomi, where I launched the Vaihturit events based on the idea of 'Bring five, take five'.
My current partners are Restaurant Musine, with whom I organise wellness days, and retired psychiatric nurse Maija-Liisa Ristola-Niskala, who leads creative discussion groups. I have a studio at the Salo Arts Centre and continue to collaborate with them on events.
