I am an experienced double bass player and I create lively and unique moments for different audiences. My performances are improvisations that I can tailor to the event and venue requested by the client. I design a unique programme for each event, which can vary in length from 10 to 30 minutes. The end result is often meditative and focused. To date, I have performed improvised concerts at several art museums, including the Ateneum Art Museum, the Sara Hildén Art Museum and the Oulu Art Museum.
Double bass improvisation is also well suited to private events, various anniversaries, and blessing and memorial services. In these cases, my improvisation can be based on a melody that is important to the client. The double bass is an impressive instrument that works well in cultural wellbeing services. The warm sound of the instrument creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the low tones can relax and reduce stress. In care services, performances can take place for a group or in the room of a resident or patient.
