Venla Moisala offers subscribers an unforgettable stage poetry performance that combines poetry recitation and theatre. If desired, a musician can also accompany her in the background. Moisala is a wordsmith, poet, poetry reciter and performer who writes raw and touching poems and songs about infatuation, humanity, love, mental health and longing. His theatre background brings energy and life to his performances, not to mention a touch of humour and a twinkle in his eye.
If required, Moisala also writes customised texts according to the client's wishes, for example, related to the theme of a celebration or seminar. Customisation is always charged separately, and the price includes creative work and rehearsing the new text.
Moisala won silver in the 2017 Finnish Stage Poetry Championships and represented Finland in the European Poetry Slam Championships in Brussels in the same year. Moisala currently performs actively throughout Finland, both solo and with various professional musicians. Moisala has appeared in the Tampere Theatre Festival programme in 2018, at the Turku Book Fair in autumn 2019, on the stage of the legendary Kulttuuriravintola Telakka in December 2019, at Tampere G Livelab in August 2020, in July 2023 at the Workers' Music Event in Valkeakoski, and in October 2024 on stage at Tuulensuu Palace. In addition to Finland, Moisala has also performed actively abroad, reciting his poems in both Finnish and English.
In addition to performing, Moisala is currently working on his debut poetry collection. In addition to his own artistic work, he teaches stage poetry, organises stage poetry courses, and produces and hosts popular monthly poetry readings and clubs combining poetry and music in Tampere.
