Creative painting workshop for older people
The creative workshop for older people and those with memory disorders is a gentle and inclusive workshop where conversation, reminiscing and doing things together are at the centre. No previous experience is needed for the workshop – painting supports memories, feelings and interaction.
The themes of the workshops may relate to, for example, well-being, the seasons, holidays (such as Mother's Day, Christmas or other special occasions), life experiences or moments of joy in everyday life. The work is carried out calmly and safely, taking into account the participants' functional capacity.
The workshop promotes participation, presence and meaningful encounters.
