Alterables: summer – dancing at outdoor events
Alterables bring two curious and gentle characters into a summer crowd or a garden party in the shade of the trees.
Brought by the wind, carried by the water, shaped by the sand and intrigued by you, the Alterables encounter passers-by and party guests as they move and dance.
The form of the performance and the encounters take shape according to the specific performance, the setting and the audience’s engagement.
Communication between the characters and the audience takes place via interactive audio recordings.
The characters wander amongst the audience, offering personal encounters to individual spectators whilst also creating a visual whole that can be appreciated from a distance.
