A JOB FOR FOOLS
Building a house can be ‘a job for fools’ – at least when the job is in the hands of the delightful duo, Jouko and Kauno. They decide to build a cottage, but one mishap follows another. The house turns out completely different from what was planned – but in Jouko and Kauno’s eyes, it’s absolutely brilliant and just like them!
The show draws its inspiration from the ‘Hölmölä’ fairy tales beloved by Finns, as well as the captivating world of old silent films. Combining puppetry and clowning, the play presents the ideas behind the best-known ‘Hölmölä’ stories in a new form, through wordless physical expression. The performance is perfectly suited to audiences of all languages.
