Story theatre is a form of non-scripted theatre. It is based on real life and the actual experiences of the people present. Story theatre can be used to explore any area of life, such as change, coping, teamwork, leadership, encounters between children and adults, human relationships and sexuality, or interaction in general. The method is a form of communal sharing, experiencing and learning that involves art and therapy.

In Tuntuma's performances, we are interested in what real life feels like. We explore the origins of emotions and how they guide and/or protect us. We explore how emotions stimulate, strengthen, overshadow, build and destroy relationships, self-esteem and achievements. Our goal is to make the spectrum of life visible in a humane, healing and integrating way. All Tuntuma actors have a background in tantra, which makes their expression physical, energetic and holistically real. Tantra thematically highlights human spiritual growth and self-awareness with all its vulnerabilities and shadows, as well as the importance of presence, encounter and connection between people. Love, relationships, sexuality, pain, longing, pleasure and taboos are also topics that this group is able to address on stage in a sensitive and multi-faceted way, taking into account different minorities.
