I am a musician, composer and producer who handles everything to do with music, from the initial idea to the audience. In 2002, I founded The Valkyrians, a ska and rocksteady band that has toured over 20 countries and reached number 24 on the Finnish album chart. I also compose and produce my own music (MOONHEAD).

I composed the music and created the video art for Susanna Abaijón-Karvinen’s dance and theatre solo performance *MAMA*, which explores motherhood, memory and the body. The piece is suitable for black-box theatres, main stages and festivals, and is technically lightweight and easy to tour. Please contact me for enquiries about the performance.

I produce, film and edit the music programme ‘Levylaukku’ from start to finish. There are 56 episodes, nearly 2,000 subscribers, and past guests have included Ismo Alanko, Pelle Miljoona and Sami Yaffa. Rumba named the programme one of the most interesting Finnish music programmes of the year.

I’ve been booking bands for Café Ursula in Helsinki since 2022 and perform as DJ Moonhead. You can book me for a MAMA performance, a music video, composition or production work, or a DJ set.
