Violinist Pauliina Lehtinen and pianist Sakari Lipasti form the Duo Lehtinen & Lipasti. The duo’s playing has been described as beautiful and distinctive, and their concerts as soulful and poetic. Duo Lehtinen & Lipasti performs regularly and has collaborated with numerous partners and artists. Their repertoire is extensive, including not only classical music but also, for example, Argentine tangos, film music and other lighter genres.

Pauliina Lehtinen is a violinist, chamber and orchestral musician. She has performed as a violinist with, among others, the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish National Opera and the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed with numerous international ensembles, such as the Britten-Pears Orchestra and the Baltic Youth Orchestra. Lehtinen has furthered her studies in Italy and Sweden, studying under Mi-Kyung Lee, Pavel Vernikov and Hagai Shaham, amongst others. She plays a Marcello Villa violin.
Sakari Lipasti holds a Master’s degree in music and graduated from the Department of Piano Music at the Sibelius Academy, where he studied under Professor Juhani Lagerspetz, among others. He has given numerous concerts over the years, performing not only solo repertoire but also chamber and lieder music. He has successfully participated in several national and international piano competitions, as well as chamber music
