I am a violinist, singer, jouhikko player, composer, lyricist, producer, Doctor of Music and multi-talented music expert. I am a two-time Emma Award nominee and an artist with an international career, having toured the world both as a solo performer and with the electro-folk band Okra Playground. In addition to performing, I have over 20 years of experience in various musical roles and teaching positions, ranging from individual lessons to choir conducting. I feel particularly at home with folk music.

My extensive experience and studies in the field of music have given me a wide range of skills. I teach violin, jouhikko and singing to people of all ages and levels, and you can also ask me to teach your choir or ensemble. My speciality is simultaneous violin playing and singing, and I am also happy to teach composition and songwriting. I offer production assistance with publications and communications, as well as coaching on grant applications and putting together promotional materials.
