Nope works closely with folk dance groups in Northern Ostrobothnia. The band also takes contemporary folk music from Oulu to schools, workplaces and various events. In particular, the communal ‘huutokatrilli’, which was inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2026, forms part of Nope’s repertoire.
