I have written 14 novels and eight non-fiction books on various topics. I published my first novel in 2005, and since then I have also worked as a freelance editor. I enjoy talking about writing as a profession and giving practical tips on effective communication and publicity. I am also happy to take on commissioned work.

Since 2012, I have been the host of the Writers' Café at the Hamina Main Library, where I am responsible for inviting guest authors and interviewing them. I am happy to take on such assignments, as they always provide something for me personally as well.

I worked as a teacher of creative writing at Kotka Opisto from 2008 to 2011. Leading various writing-related sessions is motivating, whether we are talking about fact or fiction. Due to my professional background, my area of expertise is everything related to nature, the countryside, forests and the history of forest culture. I have written several non-fiction books on the subject. I would be happy to talk more about the subject, accompanied by pictures and stories! I am a member of the Finnish Writers' Union, the Finnish Journalists' Union and the Finnish Non-Fiction Writers' Association. In my work as an editor, I am committed to following the guidelines for journalists issued by the Council for Mass Media.
