The dance school offers basic education in the art of dance through a broad and comprehensive curriculum
for everyone from school-age children right through to adults and older people. In addition, the school offers early years dance education for pre-school children. Teaching at the Vinha Dance School is organised in accordance with both the law and the curriculum guidelines issued by the National Board of Education.

At Vinha, dance is approached as an art form, and the teaching staff consists of trained professionals in the field,
arts educators and artists. The aim of the teaching is to encourage every pupil to
develop their own understanding of art and dance. At Vinha, arts education is seen as a process
that promotes the individual’s holistic wellbeing and fosters critical thinking skills, creativity and
personal cultural capital. Arts education lays the foundation for a lifelong relationship with the arts and
provides the skills needed for a career in the field. High-quality arts education is at the heart of the performing arts.
