A unique cultural site on the first island of the Archipelago Trail, in an area rich in cultural history and natural beauty. A spacious, quiet log manor house dating back nearly 300 years, changing contemporary art, ancient, majestic gnarled trees, the expression of today’s sculptors and life buzzing in the summer light are all on offer as equals, encouraging wonder and attracting international interest. The public art collection of the Wood Sculpture Garden lives in the moment and changes as dictated by nature.

Taidekartano ry collaborates with its established partners: the Piispanlinna Visitor Centre, Kuusisto Holiday Centre, the City of Kaarina, Senate Properties, Metsähallitus Nature Services, Archipelago Tourism, Tammireitit, the St Olav’s Route, VisitFinland, Visit Archipelago and Kaarina Guides. During the exhibitions, the manor house will host the Villikahvila, run by private individuals.

New partners for the year include the nationally and internationally active Association for New Textile Art (UUTE ry), which is producing the international mini-textile art triennial VOYAGE 2026, and Kasvisryhmä, a group of professional artists working in multidisciplinary environmental art, which is producing the Kierto II exhibition at Kuusisto Art Manor.
