I work partly as an artist and partly as an author. In painting, I mainly use watercolour and acrylic techniques, but I also design modern leaded glass windows. Nature is my main source of inspiration, but travel is also important to my creative process. I do not strive for exact representation in my art, but rather for simplification and abstraction.
In literature, I mainly work with non-fiction and documentation, but I also write children's books and poetic texts. Recently, I have also designed books for other authors.

When it comes to visual arts, my main references are the Åland Art Museum and its curator Susanne Procopé Ilmonen. When it comes to book creation, my main collaborators are Håkan Skogsjö at SkogsjöMedia, the Önningeby Museum and the Föglö Local History Association/Gustaf Widén, Matilda Karlström.
