Hot Heros is a high-quality jazz trio consisting of three professional musicians. The trio has released eight albums, one of which, Folkjazz from Finland, was nominated for an Emma Award in the Best Jazz Album category. The band members (Sami Sippola, saxophone, Ville Rauhala, bass, Janne Tuomi, drums) have extensive experience, and the trio has also accompanied numerous guest artists such as Iro Haarla, Hannibal, Jukka Orma, Janne Laurila and Esa Kotilainen.The trio has performed at Pori Jazz, Raahen Rantajaiset, Ylläs Jazz & Blues Festival and numerous clubs in Finland and Germany. The members of the band have played thousands of gigs in many different line-ups and have recorded hundreds of albums.
