Now in its first year as a state-subsidised theatre, Greta Tuotanto produces impressive musical theatre and opera productions throughout the year and runs the Helsinki Opera Summer under the direction of Reetta Ristimäki. Its productions, which delve deeply into history and social themes, tour festivals, concert halls and theatres in Finland and abroad, bringing powerful stories and experiences to audiences. Performances include Saiturin joulu, Sörkka svengaa, Näkemiin, Viipuri!, Kabare Berlin and Kotirintaman naiset.
