Fragile Kollektiivi is an artist collective consisting of independent artists. We have produced two contemporary circus works, Fierce (2019) and Fragile (2022), which explore human relationships through dance and acrobatics. The final part of this trilogy, Unleashed, will be completed in spring 2026.

With largely the same team, we have also created Heijastuksia (Reflections, 2021–2024), a series of outdoor performances designed for public urban spaces. Our latest production is the multidisciplinary forest circus performance Mitä puut kuiskivat? (What Do the Trees Whisper?), which premiered in the summer of 2025.

The Fragile Collective consists of circus artist Haidi Sadonkorpi, choreographer Riku Lehtopolku, sound artist/composer Mikko H Haapoja, lighting designer Kauri Klemelä and video artist Aleksi Hakala, as well as a group of acrobats/dancers who participate on a production-by-production basis. The members of our working group share an interest in the theme, a similar sense of aesthetics and a desire to combine dance movement and circus techniques into a seamless whole.
