I am a visual artist and work as a visual arts teacher and painting instructor. As a multi-talented visual artist, I have produced long and short courses for creators of various levels, covering topics such as painting, natural materials, drawing and graphic art. In creative workshops, new learning takes place in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where people dare to try new things.
"The teacher's guidance was really good and natural, inspiring and encouraging." Feedback from a watercolour course participant, 2025 In addition to teaching courses, my artistic work is divided into two options: creating images and moods or material-based play. I do the former by painting, often around a theme. The end result is representational, and my personal history and nature are often strongly present in my paintings. Nothing comes from a vacuum, and my experiences find their way into my paintings as large or small references.
On the other hand, art is a limitless playground for me to try anything I want with permission. I am inspired by unusual or everyday materials, which I combine and work with in new or surprising ways. For me, anything can be potential art material; it's all about perspective and daring. My artistic work involves collecting, connecting, comparing, composing and playing.
