Elina Holley
Uusimaa, Vantaa
I am a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and designer known for my emotionally evocative works. My style is characterised by bright colours, dynamic compositions and a playful, elegant aesthetic that transcends cultural and generational boundaries.
I work internationally in public art, illustration, events, exhibitions and community art. I transform spaces and brands into sources of energy, insight and inspiration. I create experiences that invite people to pause, empower themselves and feel a sense of belonging.
I bring conceptual thinking, a people-centred approach and the ability to translate stories, values and goals into a compelling visual whole to my projects. Art has intrinsic value, but it also offers a strategic opportunity to create meaningful experiences, increase interest and strengthen identity and well-being.
In public art, I am particularly attracted to accessibility and community spirit. I want to bring art into everyday environments where there may not be a tradition or financial resources for experiencing art. My paintings have sparked conversations and aroused admiration among different groups of people: from art professionals to the elderly and from children to people on the margins of society. We all have an innate need to find joy in our surroundings.

My mark can be seen in international companies such as IBM and at the heart of community art. I have been selected as one of the world's best illustrators in the World Illustration Awards competition and invited to art festivals around the world. In 2024, my 270 m² art concept was awarded in Espoo as a significant contribution to the quality and comfort of the built environment.
Customers have called me a super-professional and a dynamo with an incredible ability to simplify things while making them interesting. Art is my way of influencing society. I have painted murals with the support of the Arts Promotion Centre for low-income elderly people in the Havukoski area of Vantaa, which is a special treatment area, and created a 48 m² work reflecting on the climate crisis and resilience in the smallest village in Mongolia in the desert, supported by the EUresidency, and participated in the pro bono Healing Thoughts Through Art project in the notorious Tivoli Gardens neighbourhood of Kingston, Jamaica.
