The environmental artwork "Awakening Death Bells" for the city of Joensuu in 2023 and 2022 at the Antareksen Art Centre deals with the loss of nature. Each of the ceramic wind chimes hung from trees is dedicated to species that have disappeared from Finnish nature. Like the ancient Finnish bear tree, the alarm bells honour what has been lost.
By acknowledging what we have lost, we can appreciate the species that still exist in nature and prevent further species loss. The public artwork "On the Fragility and Power of the Mind" at the Kajo Yoga School deals with the complexity of the human mind.
