Agit Cirk
Helsinki, Uusimaa
The Agit-Cirk Circus and Music Association was founded in 2005. Agit Cirk operates extensively throughout Finland and internationally.
The group’s aim is to develop and produce distinctive, artistically high-calibre and interdisciplinary contemporary circus performances. We perform contemporary circus pieces in theatres and cultural centres. Our repertoire includes open-air performances, as well as shows aimed at children and suitable for schools and nurseries. We also stage individual circus acts, as well as full programmes for private events.
Agit-Cirk seeks to attract new audiences to the circus by taking its performances to venues and events where circus is not usually seen.
Agit-Cirk’s performances have been seen in over 20 different countries, and the group’s artists work with circus music and text.
