My name is Pia Liila. I have been working as a teacher of visual arts and crafts in basic arts education since 2005 and as an entrepreneur in these fields since 2006 through my company, Sisustus ja Kuvataide PiaLii. I am a designer (Bachelor of Design) and will graduate this year with a Master’s degree as a specialist in cultural wellbeing. I have been creating art in various forms all my life. I have completed pedagogical studies in Art Education and Educational Sciences. I teach both soft and hard craft skills using a wide range of techniques. I teach drawing and painting in a variety of styles.

I have worked with, amongst others, people with aphasia and/or stroke, those with memory and mood disorders, children, young people, adults and older people, as well as immigrants. My longest-running groups have been active since 2010.
I have held several solo exhibitions and have also taken part in many group exhibitions. My works are held in private collections not only in Finland but also in many European countries, and I have also created public artworks. I am a member of Ornamo.
