The BCEnsemble, a pair of upcycling artists – Milla and Petri Neuvonen – worked as community artists in the Tesoma area in autumn 2025, organising multi-venue, low-threshold art activities.
The ‘Cultural Dreams’ project was part of the City of Tampere’s community artist programme, which aimed to strengthen community spirit and participation through the arts.

‘The Spirit of the Place & Favourite Place’ was a project led by theatre director Hilkka Hyttinen and photographer Susanna Lyly as artists and producers.
The starting point for the ‘Spirit of the Place & Favourite Place’ art project was to make the spirit of a place or neighbourhood visible and to strengthen it, as well as to foster a sense of community. Local residents and stakeholders were invited to community gatherings, where art events linking the Multisilta and Peltolammi areas were planned whilst listening to residents’ wishes. The main focus was on projects aimed at families with children.

Photographers Susanna Lyly and Liisa Mäkinen carried out various documentary and commercial photography projects. Anne Välinoro wrote articles and online publications. Clients included, amongst others, the City of Tampere, the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Motiivi magazine, KasKas Media, Kalaneuvos Oy, Pispala Clothing, Ratatek, the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Rondo and FAA magazine.

Journalist and director Anne Välinoro produced and organised the Edvin Laine 120th Anniversary event at the Iisalmi Workers’ Hall in Iisalmi on 13 July 2025 and ran several film workshops across Finland.
