Worry dolls workshop

Worry dolls from Guatemala are small, handmade dolls. According to a tradition based on Mayan culture, one worry doll is placed under a pillow so that the person suffering from worry can sleep peacefully at night. In the morning, the doll in question has handed over her wisdom and instructions to the situation.
Miniature dolls vary in size; They can be anything from 2 to 8 cm. The original dolls use metal wire, wool and leftover pieces of textiles. I have developed a Finnish version of the dolls that utilizes yarn and fabric.

In the workshop, everyone will create their own doll.
